*Open November - March* The BLES program assists members in our service area who may be facing difficult times with energy costs. BLES offers a one-time payment of $275 during a 12 month period. The member must meet income guidelines to be eligible. Please call 541-688-8711 for more information.
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
LIHEAP is a federally funded program that is administered by Lane County with the help of other area agencies. This program can help households that heat with electricity, natural gas, oil, propane, wood pellets or wood. If you qualify, LIHEAP makes a one-time payment directly to your utility account. Eligibility is based on current income and doesn’t include assets or savings. Appointments are available on a first-come, first served basis. The BLES program is funded by donations from the generous members and employees of Blachly-Lane Electric Cooperative. If you would like to help support this program, you can contribute in several ways. You may give a one-time donation or, some members choose to have a recurring contribution amount added to their monthly bills. Contributions to the BLES program are tax deductible.
